Hip Hop Academy

The Hip Hop Academy of Pittsburgh is an initiative presented by Community Empowerment Association, which will teach youth ages 10 to 18 all facets of hip hop; including Writing, Recording, Performance, Production, Engineering, Marketing & Management. Like with all CEA programs and initiatives, education is paramount. The scholastic excellence of our student will be of chief concern. Youth will learn not only the history of hip hop but the history of music. In and outs of the music business will be thought and told by music professionals with experience and knowledge in the industry.

This program will provide a therapeutic avenue for all that may need music therapy or a release from stressors. Most importantly the Hip Hop Academy will also serve as a safe haven in the community for all youth.
